It seems to me that the sole was harder than I am use to. I have been buying Merrell Pace Glove over the last four years and they don’t offer a wide width. Their foot cushion was thicker and more comfortable. I eventually replaced your very thin cushion with a cushion from a sneaker and the discomfort disappeared.
